1. Returns Eligibility
We accept returns within 7 days of receipt of your order, provided the item meets the following conditions:
- Unused and in its original, undamaged condition
- In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included
- Accompanied by your proof of purchase (order number or invoice)
Important: Opened ink cartridges, toner cartridges, or other consumables that have been installed or used cannot be returned unless they are defective. This applies to all consumable products due to their nature.
2. How to Initiate a Return
- Submit your return request using the form below (you will need your order number and email address)
- Our team will review your request and respond within 1 business day
- If approved, we will provide return instructions and courier collection or drop-off arrangements
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days
3. Defective or Damaged Items — Your CPA Rights
Under the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa), you have the right to return a defective product within 6 months of purchase. If your item is defective or not as described:
- Contact us within 7 days of receipt at support@maxiprint.co.za
- Include your order number, a description of the defect, and photos where possible
- We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, as per the CPA
4. Non-Returnable Items
- Opened ink cartridges, toner, or consumables that have been installed or used
- Products with physical damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or neglect
- Items returned without original packaging, accessories, or documentation
- Products returned outside the 7-day return window (unless defective under CPA)
5. Order Cancellations
Before dispatch: Contact us immediately at support@maxiprint.co.za or call 063 734 3181. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel and refund you in full.
After dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched by our courier. You may return the item upon receipt in accordance with the returns policy above.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item
- EFT refunds are paid directly to your bank account (as provided at checkout)
- Credit card refunds may take a further 3–5 business days depending on your bank
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
